My love story

Since Valentines Day is Sunday I thought I would tell the story of Ray and me, and the reasons I love him so much.

Ray I met in 4th grade, and it was love at first sight....right! I don't think we really liked each other very much! In fact I didn't like him, like him until middle school. One day he can up to me during lunch and said..."will you go out with me?" And I thought well I have nothing else to do, so sure and the rest is history...kinda! Of course that didn't last long! We remained friends all through school and after we both graduated from high school.

Ray moved out of state with the Army after graduation so we would talk on the phone every so often, or write letter, and I still have some of those letters! One day he called and said he had moved back, and he wated to come see me. He pulled up in front of my house and that was it for me. We were married 8 monthes later!

I love Ray for lots of reasons, but here a a few:
1: He loves me and loves our kids
2: He can sing...and he can rock amything from Tody Mac to Led Zeppelin
3: He is passionate about things
4: He makes me laugh all the time
5: He wants me to be happy...well expect last week when what would have made me happy were these super cute heels for Dilliards...and he thought I didn't need them!
6: He loves God and wants everyone to know Him
7: He thinks my jokes are funny...even when no one else does...which is alot!
8: He eats whatever I cook...even if it doesn't taste good he will eat it because he doesn't want too hurt my feelings
9: He brings me candy when he thinks I have had a long day...so thoughtful!
And 10: He loves me for me...and wants me to be me, and not anything else

stop scratching your butt....

I love that my kids are embarrassed by me, well my older kids! When I sing and dance they just leave the room, or ask me to stop. I wonder if they know that I will do it more because I know they don't like it.

I do not love that my kids embarrass me though! Like my kids who take great joy out of tooting in public, or the ones who will seriously stick their hand down the back of their pants to scratch their butt...no, I am not kidding! Oh how I do love them!

I'm sure my parents were embarrassed by me to many times to say...and mom please don't say! I can promise you of all the things I have done, I have never scratched my butt...in public! There was the time in middle school I shaved the back of my head, because I thought it was cool, as it turns out, it was not very cool! I have seen enough pictures of myself from middle school and younger to know that I dressed like a fool...thanks for that mom.

So I guess what goes around comes around as far as kids go! I hope my kids don't give me as much trouble as I gave my parents, but I think I turned out pretty good, but who am I to say! I sure I will continue to sing to loud, and dance to much and just all around make my kids crazy, and they will continue to scratch their butts and pick their noses in public...they must have learned these things from their Dad!

ahhhh life

Some days are harder then others, today is one of those days in the Foreman household! If someone wasn't peeing on the floor then another someone was climbing onto the kitchen table and throwing all the laundry onto the floor. In the middle of all of this I am trying to get us packed and sorted so we can move into the mission house so we can get ready to move to Virgina so we can get ready to move to Romania.... and it goes on and on!

I'm not sure why I thought this would be a good time to once again start potty training Timothy. He has gone to the bathroom everywhere but in the potty today...living room floor, kitchen chair, and probably somewhere else to be found another time!

I know I will get all our stuff packed and someday Timothy will be potty trained, hopefully before he starts school, but today has been a long day!
